The purpose of the role is work on New Product Development / New Product Introduction. The NPI Engineer will be responsible for driving the ISC Engineering function through all development phases to meet planning, manufacturing, cost & process capability on these new developments.    Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. We are committed to the highest standard in everything we do!   Key responsibilities   Ensure new products are deployed into manufacturing using repeatable process methods, ensuring all, tooling, test equipment, work instructions are implemented to enable on time delivery of products, while meeting producibility, quality and cost targets  Ensure projects complete the necessary stages of the company Integrated Product Delivery System (IPDS) process which includes the main deliverables listed below:  * Phase gate exit review with ISC Engineering leadership  * Support Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments * Use standard NPD operating system to record all artefacts used to move forward along gated process  * Unit production Cost – Meet the cost target for serial production * Implement process routings    Skills and Requirements    Ability to manage high workload and prioritise accordingly  Technical expert for products manufactured & processes within their cell(s)  Proven experience within the general application of engineering.
