THE OPPORTUNITY:

Skilled US is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics Instructor to lead technical training for both high school CTE students and adult learners. This full-time, in-person role combines hands-on instruction in advanced manufacturing, robotics, and automation with essential workplace safety training, including OSHA 10 and 30 certifications. The instructor will teach through the Conexus Catapult curriculum and additional industry-aligned models, preparing students for high-wage, high-demand roles in modern manufacturing. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, a passion for education, and the ability to collaborate with workforce partners, support program innovation, and shape student career pathways.

EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related technical field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in technical education, industrial technology, or engineering is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in an advanced manufacturing or robotics environment required.
  • Prior teaching or training experience in a CTE, adult education, or workforce development setting is preferred.
  • Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing, process troubleshooting, and safety training.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong instructional, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to teach diverse learners and adapt methods to varied academic and technical needs.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, student data systems, and blended learning tools.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, progress, OSHA certifications, and program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with instructional and operations teams on scheduling, data entry, and program reporting.
  • Contribute to grant compliance, reporting, and strategic planning efforts as needed.
