Avionics mechanical engineer, mastering mechanical design, thermal analysis/simulation, and analysis under vibration of equipment for use in safety- and mission-critical airborne systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience, preferably in the avionic field
  • Attitude to adhere to internal requirements standards when generating the project documentation
  • Knowledge of the processes required for mechanical manufacturing
  • Professional ethics and preparation for collaborative work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Attitude to work in pipeline, taking over the artifacts generated by other members in the working team
Responsibilities
  • Produce 3D models in Catia v5 & Produce 2D drawings in Catia v5
  • Product and BOM documentation
  • Design of chassis and mechanical structures to be used by Company designed equipment
  • Selection of materials, processes and methods required to efficiently produce the designed items
  • Generation of all the documentation required to manufacture the equipment
  • Definition and development of test cases required to demonstrate the compliance with project requirement
