ABOUT YOU

As a key member of our team of Doctors, Physician Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Social prescribers, Nurses and HCA’S:

  • You will be a Registered General Practice Nurse (currently registered with the NMC).
  • You will hold a recognised ANP qualification at Masters level and work as an Independent Nurse Prescriber
  • You will have experience of working in a GP Practice and triaging patients using telephone, online or video consultation.
  • You will work autonomously whilst working within defined procedures and protocols agreed by the GPs.
  • You will be confident in diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic issues
  • You will be compassionate and committed to not only delivering care, but also developing new ways of working to meet the health needs of our to our varied practice population
  • Ideally you will have experience of using SystmOne

Responsibilities

Dr Laliwala and partners are looking to welcome an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the team on a permanent basis.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assess patients and demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making
  • Independently triage, diagnose, refer, prescribe or discharge patients appropriately
  • Deliver a high standard of patient care and promote a professional, caring and compassionate approach
  • Maintain accurate computerised patient records, using agreed read codes and complete admin relating to the patients you have seen in line with organisational procedures.
  • Provide expert advice to both patients and colleagues
  • Collect data and participate in regular practice audits to help develop the practices plans and improving primary care for our patients.
