The APC will provide assessment and management of acute and chronic health problems for residents of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and for home-bound patients. A high level of communication and collaboration with primary care physicians, patients’ families, facilities’ staffs, community agencies, and KVH staff are fundamental aspects of this position. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing. Current RN and ARNP/FNP/AGNP/PA-C licensure in Washington State. Prescriptive authority commensurate with licensure. Valid Washington State driver's license. Evidence of auto insurance in amounts compatible with KVH policy. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Completion of accredited mid-level practitioner program, with a specialty in geriatrics. Experience working with geriatric patients who reside in a skilled nursing facility, and assisted living facility or who are homebound.
