PROGRAM: Virtua Pediatric Behavioral Health C.A.S.T.L.E. is a comprehensive, therapeutic day program designed for youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges. BENEFITS: * Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k)) * Paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays) * CME reimbursement and paid CME time * Malpractice insurance coverage provided * Supportive and mission-driven team environment KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents. * Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications based on individualized treatment plans. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, educators, nurses, social workers, and families. * Participate in team meetings, care coordination, and treatment planning sessions. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with CFG and Virtua Health policies. * Provide psychiatric consultation and crisis intervention support as needed within the program. QUALIFICATIONS: * Current New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license with prescriptive authority. * Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) required. * Child and adolescent psychiatry experience strongly preferred. * Current DEA and CDS certification or eligibility to obtain. * Demonstrated ability to work with high-needs, at-risk youth populations in outpatient or structured settings. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. * A trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally competent approach to care.
