Advanced Practice Nurse, Per Diem Emergency Providers-Adult Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking an Adult Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to join its Adult Emergency Departments. Saint Peter's is bringing the Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments. We are recruiting multiple providers to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed emergency medicine group. Adult Emergency Department Opportunity Highlights 52-bed Adult ED with approximately 45,000-50,000 annual visits; high-acuity, diverse case mix Collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment with dedicated nocturnist APPs as part of the team Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 120 hrs/month with equal distribution of days, nights, weekends, and holidays Coverage areas: Fast Track, Pods A, B, C with provider in triage Full-time opportunity; 1 year of acute care experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive compensation aligned with training, qualifications, and experience; $7,500 productivity bonus available upon meeting quality metrics Dedicated nocturnist rate required of other APPs available; a full-time APP nocturnist is on the team, reducing the number of night shifts Hospital employment with eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Comprehensive benefits package: 401(k) with 5% match, CME allowance, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, health, dental, vision, prescription, tuition reimbursement, and family caregiving support Requirements: National board certification as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through ANCC or AANP required. Current Advance Practice Nursing licensure in the State of New Jersey. Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Jersey. Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing required Current CDS and DEA required. BLS, ACLS certification required (American Heart Association). Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance. One (1) - Two (2) years emergency medicine or acute care experience strongly preferred Salary Range: 97.00 - 100.00 USD We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
