Our comprehensive behavioral health services provide high-quality mental health and substance use care to diverse populations across southern New Jersey.   We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient services team.   Position Summary:   The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care to adult individuals in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers—to ensure comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans for patients.   Key Responsibilities: * Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up appointments for outpatient clients * Provide telepsychiatry services using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans * Collaborate with behavioral health team members and refer patients to appropriate internal or external resources as needed * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) * Participate in case conferences, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives * Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence Qualifications: * Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in NJ * Certified in specialty * DEA license with the ability to prescribe psychiatric medications * Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred (new grads with strong training and interest in outpatient care may be considered) * Comfortable with telehealth platforms and remote patient care * Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills * Passion for providing equitable, culturally competent mental health care What We Offer: * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Up to 264 hours of PTO annually * Generous CME allowance, plus paid CME time * Supportive, multidisciplinary behavioral health team * Continuing education opportunities and professional development support * Access to robust EHR and telehealth tools * Relocation assistance (if applicable) Total Rewards at AtlantiCare   At AtlantiCare, we believe in supporting the whole person.
