Under general supervision of the Attending Physician, in collaboration with other clinical staff, is responsible for evaluation and development of treatment plans for patients admitted to the gynecology service. Provide expert gynecologic consultation for inpatient and emergency department patients. Other job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: History and physical Ongoing assessment and intervention Coordination of inpatient care Surgical first assisting Discharge planning KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate and coordinate effectively with supervising physician and other health professionals regarding the care of gynecology/gyn-oncology patients, as well as Obstetrics

Responsibilities

The provider is responsible for the evaluation and development of treatment plans for admitted gynecology service patients under general supervision, while also providing expert gynecologic consultation for inpatient and emergency department cases. Key duties include coordinating inpatient care, performing surgical first assisting, and managing discharge planning.
