Description
What you will be doing Independently manage a complex panel of Afib and general cardiology patients, conducting comprehensive evaluations, follow-up visits, and procedural consultations across the clinic. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the electrophysiology team, applying current clinical guidelines to complex and nuanced patient presentations. Provide procedural support for EP procedures including pre- and post-procedural care, patient preparation, and recovery management. Order, perform, and interpret advanced diagnostic studies, including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and other cardiac assessments, with a high degree of clinical accuracy. Serve as a senior clinical resource for other advanced practice staff, contributing to mentorship, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives. Lead patient and family education around Afib management, anticoagulation therapy, device monitoring, and procedural expectations, translating complex information into actionable guidance. Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation, uphold regulatory and compliance standards, and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical workflows as the practice scales What we're looking for Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Indiana, with relevant board certification (ACNP, FNP, PA-C, or equivalent). Significant experience in a cardiology or electrophysiology setting, with a strong clinical foundation in Afib diagnosis, management, and patient education. Demonstrated ability to practice with a high degree of clinical independence, managing complex cases and exercising sound judgment in fast-paced environments. Experience supporting or assisting with EP procedures, including pre- and post-procedural care, is strongly preferred. Strong leadership presence and communication skills, with the ability to mentor peers, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to a team-oriented clinical culture. Proficiency with electronic health record systems and a comfort with the technology and workflows of a modern, digitally-forward ambulatory practice.
