Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our dynamic Inpatient Hepatobiliary Surgery Service as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and play a pivotal role in patient recovery and care. Role Overview: You will be at the forefront of managing post-operative care, addressing complications, and working alongside a collaborative team of expert surgeons and fellows. As part of a team of over 900 APPs at MSK, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, all while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment. Key Qualifications: Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) A Minimum of 2+ years of relevant clinical experience with inpatient surgery experience preferred Related National NP certification BLS/ ACLS certification OR Graduate from an accredited PA program A minimum of 0-1+ years of experience as an experienced PA in surgical oncology preferred NCCPA certification Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure BLS/ACLS certification Core Skills: Strong decision-making abilities, ensuring timely and effective actions that keep the organization moving forward Skilled in anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple team members, promoting a cohesive work environment Effective communicator, capable of engaging with diverse groups and fostering open, relatable interactions Highly adaptable, adjusting approach and demeanor in real-time to meet the shifting demands of various situations Collaborative, working seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care to inpatient Hepatobiliary surgery patients Proficient in implementing patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum Additional Information: Location: 1275 York Ave NY, NY Hours:12.5 hour shifts, 6a-6:30p weekend rotation may be required Reports to: Associate Director, APP Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually *This role does not include OR time* Helpful Links: Compensation Philosophy Benefits #ZIPHP #IND #LI-POS Pay Range: $133,500.00 - $220,400.00 FSLA Status: Exempt Closing: At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.
