Our goal is to help all patients reach functional remission and improve overall health outcomes. We believe mental and physical wellness are only achieved when treating patients holistically. The status quo of the healthcare system does not work for patients, so we have changed the way we treat patients and deliver care. Our providers have access to: Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) Brain Mapping Neurocognitive Testing Neurofeedback Pharmacogenetic Testing Home Sleep Study Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Classes On-site Lab Crisis Support provided by licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors About the role of the Advanced Practice Provider · Supervision, collaboration, & mentorship provided by a psychiatrist and primary care physician · Must be able to see new and established patients New Patient appointments are 60 minutes; F/U appointments are 20 minutes APP must be able to see patients from ages 16+ · Understanding of DSM V Criteria and psychopharmacological management required · Ability to develop a differential diagnosis and complete medical workup required · Utilization of clinical data (vitals, labs, PHQ9, GAD7, WSAS, Epworth/Stop Bang) into decision making and treatment planning required · Participate in Interventional Psychiatry (training provided) · Up to 20 patients/day are scheduled: our providers see an average 16-20 patients/day · Majority of patient visits will be completed In-Office; remote work is not available for this position · Must be proficient with computers · Understanding ICD-10 and CPT codes; basic understanding of Coding & Billing required · All providers rotate after hours call · Monthly meetings with APP team, Medical Director and Supervising Physician · Quarterly meetings with all providers Requirements Certified PA Current BLS
Responsibilities
The Advanced Practice Provider will supervise, collaborate, and receive mentorship from a psychiatrist and primary care physician while seeing new and established patients. They will develop differential diagnoses, complete medical workups, and participate in interventional psychiatry.
