As our new Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless outpatient care, supporting both surgical oncology and reconstructive patients throughout their treatment journey. This opportunity is based within an academic medical setting, where you will collaborate closely with a dynamic team that includes residents and fellows. Location: Knoxville, TN — University of Tennessee Medical Center — Head and Neck Oncology, Reconstruction & Facial Trauma Clinic Position Type: Full-Time • Outpatient Clinic • Monday–Friday • No call, weekends, or holidays Key Responsibilities: As an integral part of our clinic, you will: Independently manage post-operative, surveillance, and select new patient visits Accurately document encounters in the EMR Prescribe routine medications, order labs and imaging as appropriate Recognize and escalate urgent clinical findings to the supervising surgeon Provide wound care, lifestyle counseling, and ongoing patient education Participate in tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: $110,000 – $135,000 (commensurate with experience and licensure) Comprehensive Benefits Package Includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation, sick leave, and CME time CME allowance 401(k) with company match Malpractice coverage Licensing & certification support Professional development opportunities No call, weekends, or holidays—enjoy work-life balance!
