Looking for a place that is different…. Horizon Health is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Women’s Health practice in Paris, IL. We are a rural organization that includes a critical access hospital, extensive outpatient services, and rural health clinics, but much larger in scope and size than typical rural organizations. We have advanced technology, new offerings for the communities we serve, strong specialty support, and still have the small-town approach and values that make our organization so special. We are looking for an APP candidate with experience, compassion, and strong clinical skills. This APP will work primarily in an outpatient setting with our OBGYN to care for patients seeking Women’s Health care for things like family planning and contraception, well woman exams, gynecological conditions, and menopause etc. Position Requirements: * Current license as an Advanced Practice Provider in the State of Illinois. * Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation-BLS. * Preferred two (2) years of Advance Practice Provider experience ideally in women’s health or similar specialty. * Compassionate patient centered approach to care * Excellent time management skills * Exceptional communication skills * Part-time position (30 hrs. a week) Essential Functions: * Assessment, treatment, and evaluation for new and existing surgical patients * Post-Operative follow-ups * Inpatient rounding and consultations * Pre-Surgery workups in collaboration with our Pre-Anesthesia Clinic * Patient education pre- and post-surgical procedures * Office procedures * Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Horizon health: * Horizon Health is staffed with 20 primary care physicians and providers, with specialty support in behavioral health, urogynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, pain, dermatology, podiatry, wound care, cosmetics, endocrinology, and cardiology. * Additionally, we have 11 visiting specialists that see patients in the clinic each month. Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider will primarily work in an outpatient setting to provide Women's Health care, including family planning, well woman exams, and menopause management, while also handling assessment, treatment, and evaluation for surgical patients, post-operative follow-ups, and inpatient rounding.
