Important: This position requires a Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as a condition of employment, pursuant to Chapters 408 and 435, Florida Statutes. https://ahca.myflorida.com/health-quality-assurance/bureau-of-central-services/background-screening/clearinghouse [https://ahca.myflorida.com/health-quality-assurance/bureau-of-central-services/background-screening/clearinghouse] Snapshot of key accountabilities of the Advanced Practice Clinician: * Provide high-quality reproductive and sexual healthcare, including physical exams, patient counseling, contraception management, STI testing/treatment, and abortion-related services. * Conduct medical assessments including breast and pelvic exams, Pap smears, and other screenings aligned with PPFL protocols. * Ensure thorough documentation, compliance with medical standards, and support clinic productivity and flow. * Collaborate with health center leadership and staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care. * Educate patients on reproductive and sexual health topics, including GAHT, pregnancy options, sterilization post-care, and behavioral/primary health services. * Refer patients for care beyond the clinician’s scope as needed and manage follow-up procedures. * Participate in staff training and contribute to quality assurance efforts. * May perform specialized services such as ultrasound, colposcopy, centralized follow-up, or on-call support, if appropriately credentialed and privileged. Experience/Education of the Advanced Practice Clinician: * Current State of Florida Licensure as APRN or PA required, with dispensing authority. * Prior experience in women’s health, reproductive health, or family planning strongly preferred. * Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred. * Must possess excellent decision-making, communication, and organizational skills. * Demonstrated commitment to reproductive health and rights. * BLS certification required. * Comfort in discussing sensitive topics related to sexuality, pregnancy, and contraception.
