We are an opportunity for an Advanced Process Control Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Finland, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced process control strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality for our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and analyse process data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • DCS system configuration and implementation and then focus on the DCS system application design, testing and commissioning
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Key skills and qualifications

  • Experience working with advanced process controls and DCS applications with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer-based process control systems
  • Knowledge and experience in remote fixes coupled with experience of programming. Exposure within virtualisation, networks and cyber
  • Ability to accurately document design and work carried out for reporting and audit purposes
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customer contacts
  • Fluency in both Finish and English languages both verbal and written
