The Opportunity Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Current national certification and DEA are required. Current IL state license is a plus. The Practice HSHS St. Mary's Hospital – Decatur, Illinois STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center. 48-bed facility with a 6-bed ICU. 16-18 encounters per day per hospitalist; 4-5 encounters per night per nocturnist. No procedures or vent management required. On-site CT and MRI. Epic EMR with Dragon dictation. Vituity-staffed intensivists and emergency department offer integrated care solutions at this site. Responsibilities

Advanced Providers play a critical role in the Hospital Medicine team, serving as valued members of the full care team to improve lives. Responsibilities include managing 16-18 patient encounters per day for hospitalists, with no required procedures or vent management.
