The Opportunity Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. New grads welcome to apply. Current national certification, DEA, NCCPA, ANCC, AANP, ACLS, and BLS required. Current FL state license is a plus. The Practice Ascension Sacred Heart – Pensacola, Florida Level II Trauma Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center. 566-bed facility with most sub-specialty backup excluding dermatology and rheumatology. 18-20 encounters per hospitalist per day and 10-12 encounters per hospitalist per night. Closed ICU with no procedures required. On-site intensivists, imaging, and labs. The region’s only peds trauma referral center and high-risk pregnancy center. Responsibilities

As an Advanced Provider in Hospital Medicine, you will play a critical role in the mission to improve lives by serving as a valued member of the full care team at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida. Responsibilities include managing 18-20 patient encounters per day or 10-12 per night in a closed ICU setting where no procedures are required.
