Advanced Specialist (Global Brand Manager) Description This role operates as a subject-matter expert in global brand application, owning complex brand initiatives with a high degree of autonomy. The Advanced Specialist, Global Brand Manager works alongside the Brand Director to deliver significant brand outcomes — from embedding a new global identity and architecture to shaping our processes, ways of working and governance. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role influences creative direction and delivery, ensures brand consistency at scale, and supports teams across the business with expertise, mentorship, and clear brand leadership. Comparable market titles include Global Brand Manager, Brand Manager or Brand Strategy Manager. As Advanced Specialist (Global Brand Manager), you’ll help transition one of the world’s most recognized learning brands into its next chapter, ensuring our new identity shows up consistently, clearly, and powerfully across the globe. This role exists to protect, evolve, and embed our brand — partnering across business units, marketing, product, digital, customer experience, and agencies to ensure every touchpoint delivers on our promise. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, acting as both a brand guardian and a trusted advisor. What You’ll Own Success in this role looks like: A globally consistent, high-quality brand experience across channels and markets Business units empowered to execute the brand confidently and correctly Clear, practical governance that balances creativity with consistency Your biggest priorities will be: Embedding Pearson’s new brand strategy, identity, and architecture globally Acting as the day-to-day brand partner and expert for business units Strengthening brand governance through tools, training, and a best-in-class brand hub You will lead, create, and influence: Global brand rollouts, migrations, and complex brand initiatives Creative development and reviews with in-house and external agencies Brand training, enablement, and best-practice sharing Cross-functional alignment across marketing, digital, customer experience, and sales Brand measurement, insights, and continuous improvement About You You bring deep experience in global brand management — and you’re someone who combines clarity, confidence, and collaboration. You bring strong brand strategy and execution skills, and you’re someone who raises standards, simplifies complexity, and moves teams to action. Whether collaborating across functions or navigating ambiguity, you thrive in fast-moving, global environments.
