This is a senior individual contributor role focused on expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and delivering strong commercial outcomes across public and private sector customers. In your first six months, your impact will be visible through a clear sales strategy, strengthened institutional and industry relationships, and progress against revenue and pipeline targets. As part of the ELS Vocational Qualifications Sales team, you’ll work closely with internal colleagues to align solutions with customer needs while providing expert guidance to partners and clients. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What You’ll Own Success in this role is defined by outcomes, ownership, and leadership: * Sales strategy & growth: Lead annual and long‑range planning for your territory, developing and executing sales strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth in the vocational education market. * Market development: Analyse market trends, regulatory environments, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and shape go‑to‑market approaches. * Stakeholder & partnership management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including education providers, government bodies, regulators, and industry partners. * Commercial execution: Lead negotiations, prepare and present tailored proposals, and close deals with education institutions and enterprise customers. * Forecasting & performance management: Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and commercial performance reporting through CRM and internal systems. * Cross‑functional collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure product alignment, effective delivery, and strong customer outcomes. * Leadership & culture: Act as a role model for high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the wider sales community.
