Honeywell’s QUASAR team is looking for an Advanced Systems Engineer to support and enhance our global refinery customers and Honeywell system platforms. About the Role As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you’ll provide expert-level maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and upgrade support for Honeywell Experion & TPS (Total Plant Solution) environments—including LCN, UCN, C300PM and C300 controllers. You will work across a broad suite of Honeywell technologies such as FDM, Alarm Suite, EBR, TRACE, VSphere, Enabled Services/DSI, Trellix AV, network switches and more. You’ll also support global refinery operations (including rostered 24/7 standby), deliver brownfield upgrade work, and assist with system migrations and modernisations. Key Responsibilities * Deliver installation, testing, deployment and maintenance of Honeywell Experion and TPS/EPKS systems. * Provide advanced technical support for Experion, LCN/UCN networks, C300 controllers and associated Honeywell applications. * Maintain and troubleshoot key platforms including PHD, Alarm Manager, EBR, AntiVirus, Enabled Services and Cyber Insights. * Support incident management and participate in rostered 24/7 standby for global refinery operations. * Execute system upgrades, migrations and brownfield modernisation projects while maintaining documentation and change control. About You You are a technically strong engineer with a passion for solving complex automation challenges. You thrive in environments where reliability, precision and customer satisfaction matter. Required Skills & Experience * 5+ years of industrial automation or control systems experience. * Hands on experience with Experion and/or TPN/TPS systems. * Strong understanding of Microsoft Server OS and Microsoft Office tools. * Scripting experience (PowerShell, VB). * Virtualisation experience (preferably VMware). * Knowledge of process control concepts and IT networking fundamentals. * Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Education * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
