As the Advancement Engagement Manager, you will: * Partner across Advancement, Marketing and Communications, Faculties and key portfolios to deliver aligned, high‑impact marketing and communications initiatives * Lead and develop a small team to support Advancement campaigns, publications and engagement activities * Translate complex marketing and communications needs into practical, inclusive and sustainable solutions aligned to Deakin strategy and guidelines * Build strong internal networks and communities of practice to drive collaboration, shared goals and consistent messaging across the University * Shape and share compelling Deakin stories, using insights and stakeholder feedback to continually refine engagement and impact To be successful, you’ll have: * A relevant postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Communications (or progress towards), or equivalent extensive experience * Proven experience leading digital marketing and communications functions, ideally within higher education or philanthropic environments * Strong content creation capability, with the ability to translate complex or academic material into engaging, audience‑appropriate messaging * Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with a strong eye for detail, quality and integrity * A creative, innovative mindset, with the ability to manage priorities and timelines for yourself and a small team Here's how to apply:  Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience. Responsibilities
The manager will partner across various university departments to execute high-impact marketing and communications initiatives while leading and developing a small team to support Advancement activities.
