GENERAL SUMMARY

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing women’s health team in Daytona Beach, FL. The CNM will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for women across the lifespan, with a focus on obstetrical, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services. This is an exciting opportunity to serve patients in a collaborative, faith-based healthcare environment, while working alongside an established team of OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Providers.

  • Ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team-based model of care .
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility to adapt to patient needs across inpatient and outpatient settings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of midwifery experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered.
  • Experience in labor & delivery, prenatal care, and women’s health services .

Responsibilities
  • Provide full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecological, and family planning services .
  • Manage and support low-risk labor and delivery patients independently , with physician collaboration for high-risk cases.
  • Provide routine women’s health care, including annual exams, contraceptive counseling, and perimenopausal/menopausal management.
  • Participate in call coverage and hospital rounding responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care .
  • Promote education and wellness by counseling patients and families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
