Job Responsibilities: Pilots will gain and maintain flight qualification in one of our fleets of aircraft, specifically the A-4 Skyhawk and F-1 Mirage. Attend flight briefings, plan and fly adversary training missions, accomplish flight debriefings. Adhere to all training rules and pre-briefed maneuvering restrictions. Collect and disseminate lessons learned. Other squadron duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities: Pilots will gain and maintain flight qualification in one of our fleets of aircraft, specifically the A-4 Skyhawk and F-1 Mirage. Attend flight briefings, plan and fly adversary training missions, accomplish flight debriefings. Adhere to all training rules and pre-briefed maneuvering restrictions. Collect and disseminate lessons learned. Other squadron duties as assigned. Qualifications: Pilots shall have the education, training, technical knowledge, and experience required for these functions. Minimum pilot qualifications are as follows: Shall be citizen of the United States. No foreign nationals permitted. Military tactical flying experience in one of the following: 500 hours total fighter time* and current in Armed Forces Reserve or Guard status, or DoD Retired or Separated with 1000 hours fighter time*, or DoD Retired or Separated with 1300 hours total time (PIC/IP/SEFE in F/A/T-aircrafts) with 300 hours fighter time*, or *Fighter time includes any Government owned F-, A- designation, as well as T-38 ADAIR, T-38 IFF, and any international exchange fighter equivalent aircraft serving as Pilot in Command, Instructor Pilot, or Stan/Eval Flight Examiner. Shall have tactical flying qualification within the preceding 5 years. This qualification can be with the US Military Department, a foreign DoD equivalent, or a US DoD Contractor providing ADAIR or Close-air-support on another DoD contract. This may be waived on a case-by-case basis based on experience level of hiring candidate. Previous qualified DoD flight lead (4-ship for ADAIR) in F- or A- designated aircraft. Current FAA Class II medical rating. FAA Rating. All pilots shall be IFR rated and shall hold a single engine commercial pilot certificate. Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
