Your New Role

The Advice Assurance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of financial advice is delivered and maintained. The key focus of the role is to conduct compliance file/advice reviews of Aware Super financial planners (face to face advisers as well as client hub advisers), identify and evaluate compliance risks in relation to the provision of financial planning advice by Licensee’s representatives and providing general advice compliance support to the business. It is through working closely with Advice Managers, other Advice Enablement and Quality Assurance staff as well as external contacts that adhering to the company’s values and achieving key objectives In addition you will:

  • Reviewing Digital Advice: Evaluating the accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance of digital financial advice provided to members;
  • Being customer (Member) focused through building strong relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions, especially when resolving complex or sensitive member issues; and
  • Continuously improving systems and workflows to enhance quality and efficiency.

How do you exceed our expectations?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience;
  • RG146 compliant in superannuation is required;
  • Experience working in Financial Advice or an Advice Assurance role;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, particularly in relation to regulatory obligations;
  • Competency working with Excel and Word and knowledge of financial planning software; and
  • You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
