Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

As an Advice Assurance Officer you will conduct compliance file/advice reviews of Aware Super financial planners (face to face advisers as well as client hub advisers), identify and evaluate compliance risks in relation to the provision of financial planning advice by Licensee’s representatives and provide general advice compliance support to the business.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma of Financial Services (RG146)
  • Relevant tertiary degree such as Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Law
  • Solid experience in a financial planning related role
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Report writing experience
  • Proven Data Analytics experience
  • Problem solving: Proactive in identifying risk areas and solutions for change
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail skills are extremely important, especially in reviewing files and identifying compliance risks
  • Solid Excel and Word competency
  • Solid knowledge of financial planning software
