Description
Advice Implementation Consultant Permanent, full‑time position Flexible, hybrid working environment Help deliver high‑quality, end‑to‑end financial advice outcomes that make a real difference to our Members’ lives in retirement. At AustralianSuper, we truly care about our colleagues. We know work and life are intertwined. That’s why we support the diverse needs of everyone and have policies that enable us all to thrive and be truly flexible. We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow and deliver better outcomes for members. Your New Role Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the way financial advice is delivered and embedded for members? As our new Advice Implementation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role within our high‑performing Comprehensive Advice team, which produce complex financial advice for our Members. This is a high‑visibility position, working closely with advisers to ensure that every recommendation is implemented accurately, efficiently, and in full alignment with regulatory obligations and member needs. You’ll be central to bringing advice strategies to life. From complex transactions to thoughtful member communication, you’ll ensure each step of the implementation process is delivered seamlessly — helping turn advice into real, tangible retirement outcomes for our Members. You will thrive in this role if you are inquisitive, proactive, autonomous, and passionate about continuous improvement. Your work will directly uplift the advice experience and enhance the quality and consistency of outcomes for the people who trust us with their retirement. What You’ll Do Implement end‑to‑end financial advice strategies, including investment transactions, new account setups, super rollovers and contributions, ensuring all actions align with member goals. Coordinate the full implementation process by working collaboratively with advisers, Members, administrators, product providers and internal teams to deliver timely and accurate outcomes. Maintain high standards of compliance by ensuring all advice implementation meets legislative, regulatory and internal policy requirements. Communicate proactively with advisers and Members, providing clear progress updates, clarifying requirements, and helping create a seamless advice experience. Investigate, resolve and escalate implementation issues when needed, while contributing ideas that enhance processes, workflows and overall quality. Record and verify all implementation activities within advice systems to support auditing accuracy, regulatory obligations and robust quality assurance. What You’ll Need Background in financial advice, with strong technical knowledge and experience across advice processes. An inquisitive, proactive, problem‑solving mindset, comfortable working autonomously. A genuine continuous improvement orientation — curious, questioning, and always looking for ways to enhance how we work. Experience with Xplan or similar financial planning software (highly beneficial). Strong attention to detail, organisational capability, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and exceptional service. RG146 qualified or willingness to obtain promptly with ongoing CPD. Financial services advice experience (superannuation experience helpful but not essential).
