Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Adviser is required to coordinate and support the design and facilitation of integrity risk workshops, contribute to strategic intelligence and support education, communications and integrity policy compliance activities.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of integrity programs including the implementation of the DJCS Integrity Strategy
  • Assisting in the provision of professional and authoritative advice on integrity risks to internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating and supporting the design and facilitation of integrity risk workshops, education programs and key projects to build capability and enhance a positive integrity culture across DJCS.

Integrity and Investigations is responsible for leading:

  • Corruption investigations, confidential assessments and referral of Public Interest Disclosures (PIDs)
  • DJCS’s engagement with agencies such as the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) and the Victorian Ombudsman
  • Investigations into suspected integrity breaches using technology-led detection and analysis
  • Integrity culture at DJCS, Child Safe Standards and fraud prevention activities
