This role plays a key part in ensuring world-class health, safety and environmental standards are upheld throughout the entire project lifecycle. Relocation support is available for successful candidates.The Role Duties and Responsibilities   Providing expert HSE advice and guidance in alignment with company standards, legislation and client expectations. Developing, implementing and monitoring HSE management systems, procedures and policies to enable safe and sustainable project delivery. Conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Championing a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, training sessions and engagement initiatives. Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors and key stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment with HSE objectives. Preparing and maintaining accurate HSE reports, records and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Supporting continuous improvement by analysing HSE performance and driving proactive safety solutions About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following: A Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety ICAM or Taproot certification A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar HSE role Experience using HSE management databases Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholder groups Proven incident investigation capability (ICAM, Taproot) Due to the Security Clearance required for this position, applicants must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance through the Australian Department of Defence.Civmec + You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ‘Never Assume' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
