Description

As an IT support advisor, you provide user support and assistance for IT applications, including installation, configuration, best practices, issue resolution, service request management, and IT and technical incident management. You help keep IT equipment up and running, particularly through server administration. You advise clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives. You propose solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as subject matter expert for your unit, clients and partners. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Diagnose and analyze issues, challenges, needs and corrective action to determine target outcomes
  • Follow up as needed to solve more complex or unusual problems
  • Develop and help implement objectives, solutions and action plans
  • Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
