Essar Capital is governed by its board of directors. The responsibilities of Essar Capital as investment manager of EGFL include: Implementing and managing investments and divestments Monitoring performance of the portfolio Preparing and delivering financial reports of EGFL Implementing and overseeing appropriate policies and procedures Essar Capital comprises professionals with extensive experience in investment, strategy, financing, M&A and consulting Responsibilities § Assist Senior Associate in evaluating deals, building financial models and creating valuation reports § Perform market research to identify new investment opportunities in their respective sector § Research about the target company and communicate with their existing customer to gather data § Research on potential competitors of the target company § Gather industry information by performing primary and secondary research § Perform valuation analysis via modelling § Review and summarize confidential information memorandums (CIMs) that contains information about future potential investment opportunities § Monitor the portfolio companies with the senior associate, assist in sourcing deals and conducting transactions § Assist and advise Management in the development and implementation of the acquired company’s business strategy § Assist in acquisition of future companies and sourcing of capital § Analyze potential exit opportunities for the current portfolio investment under Essar Capital The Person § The individual must have 3+ years of experience in asset management/private equity § The individual must have the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment § Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess the economic performance / analysis of companies and industries § Strong organizational skills, process management and time management skills. § Strong oral and written communication, including the ability to communicate effectively across regional teams. § Must contain advanced analytical capabilities § Proficiency in MS Office Academic qualifications § Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an institute of repute § CA/CFA Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from an institute of repute
