KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Day to day delivery of marine site operations support through engagement with operations teams. Liaison with Operations partners, verification and validation of marine operations at offshore assets and terminals, input on decision making process.
Provide oversight of Marine self verification
Supporting newly established regions in development of resourcing & execution plans for hydrocarbon production using marine installations.
Support consistent delivery of site marine risk, bowtie management and standardization across the applicable regions. Drive a culture of continuous improvement for site marine performance in regions and continuously seek out operational improvements to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
Support the integration, training & familiarization of ‘One Marine’ organization at SMTL-1 level. Support regional development of nationalization strategies during operational stages.
Subject Matter Expert to Operations, including provision of current industry and internal best practice, ensuring Operations compliance with Marine Standards.
Working with multiple disciplines across BP to include the regional IM team, Marine Authorities, Engineering team, OIMs, Site Marine Team Leads and regional Operations Leads.
Completing assigned duties in compliance with Group, business group, Operational, Sub-functional and Regional requirements. Supports other entities and regions as required under functional support model or SLA, e.g. Planning, Emergency Response, Incident investigations, SIMOPS, Subsurface, Wells, Projects..
Ensures personal compliance with the Safety Leadership Principles and Operating Discipline. Demonstrates strong leadership of BP’s Values & Behaviours including continuous improvement, performance management and personal development.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Held or have held a Marine or Engineering Certificate of Competency or, Degree or equivalent qualification in a marine related discipline.
Sound marine operational experience in hydrocarbon carriage and offshore site marine operations.
Offshore operations leadership ( FPSO/MODU)
Contractor management skills.
