The Role We’re looking for an agile and motivated Marketing & Communications Advisor (ANZ) to help our team deliver strategic and impactful communications and marketing initiatives that drive client growth, strengthen brand positioning, and support business strategy across the ANZ region. This role is suitable for a strategic, outcome-driven marketer who can build rapport with internal and external stakeholders, knows how to align marketing planning to strategy and can execute efficiently and with agility. As a key advisor within the business, you’ll design and execute integrated internal and external communications programs aligned with regional client, growth and brand strategies. You’ll connect strategy to storytelling, campaigns to commercial outcomes, and partnerships to measurable impact. You’ll play a central role in enhancing stakeholder engagement across a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment. Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Developing an ANZ marketing plan that aligns with the ANZ growth and client strategy Delivering high-impact internal and external communications initiatives Executing strategic campaigns with sophisticated project management principles Managing key ANZ industry partnerships to maximise visibility and opportunity for SMEC Supporting CSR, ESG and sustainability communications initiatives Developing tailored internal and external communication processes for our business Building strong stakeholder relationships across the business and industry About You Suitable applicants will be/have: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business Management (or related discipline); or equivalent industry experience Strong understanding of contemporary marketing and communications principles Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills A creative eye with a flair for innovation and design Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills Sound knowledge of relevant industry landscape Why You’ll Love This Role Real impact - Your work won’t sit in a silo.
