Job Description Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fire safety programs for large-scale urban development and high-rise projects, including fire prevention strategies, emergency evacuation procedures, and fire suppression system management tailored to complex building environments Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments on high-rise structures and master-planned developments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions Ensure compliance with all applicable fire, life, and safety codes and regulations specific to Saudi Arabia and the organization's operational requirements, particularly for large-scale urban projects Design and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring comprehensive understanding of emergency procedures and safety protocols specific to high-rise and complex urban environments Investigate safety incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures to avoid future occurrences across multiple project sites Maintain detailed safety documentation, records, and reports, including inspection logs, incident reports, and compliance certifications for large-scale master plan projects Coordinate with emergency response teams, local authorities, and project stakeholders to develop and test emergency response plans and evacuation procedures for high-rise buildings and urban developments Analyze safety data and metrics across large-scale projects to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend program enhancements Stay current with evolving safety regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements in fire and life safety systems, particularly as they apply to high-rise construction and urban master planning Collaborate with facility management, engineering teams, and department heads to integrate safety considerations into all organizational operations, master plan developments, and high-rise construction projects Apply engineering expertise to evaluate and optimize fire safety system designs and life safety infrastructure in complex, large-scale urban environments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the engineering field Proven track record of working on large-scale urban master plan projects with high-rise building developments Demonstrated expertise in fire safety systems, life safety code compliance, and emergency preparedness program management within complex urban environments Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems, detection systems, and life safety equipment as applied to high-rise structures Extensive experience conducting risk assessments, hazard analysis, and safety audits on large-scale development projects Proficiency in analyzing safety data and developing evidence-based safety improvement initiatives for master-planned developments Excellent organizational and documentation skills with the ability to maintain comprehensive safety records and reports across multiple project sites Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience developing and delivering safety training programs to diverse audiences In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian fire and safety regulations and international safety standards applicable to urban development Demonstrated experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and preventive measure implementation Proficiency in safety management systems and emergency response coordination for complex, multi-site operations Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams and project stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail in high-complexity environments Professional demeanor with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
