Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting directly to the Manager, Strategy and Risk, this role will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the VEC’s regulatory priorities and strategies in relation to political funding, disclosure and registration.
  • Leading or supporting projects that address key regulatory risks and compliance issues.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to evaluate risks and regulatory trends.
  • Preparing clear, strategic reporting and advice to inform senior leadership and improve regulatory practices.
  • Supporting business continuity and continuous improvement initiatives across the Strategy and Risk team.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislative frameworks to support compliant outcomes
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess data, identify trends and inform decision-making
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on collaboration and influencing outcomes
