Job Responsibilites: * Provide hands-on database administration and support for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB across Unix/Linux and Windows environments * Manage and maintain enterprise databases to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability, including monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning * Implement and maintain database security controls, including system hardening, patching, and privileged access management * Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity * Ensure compliance with internal database security policies and standards * Collaborate with application teams to resolve database-related issues and support ongoing system enhancements * Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures * Support database lifecycle activities such as upgrades, failover testing, and environment changes * Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for database configurations and operational procedures * Participate in 24/7 on-call support and provide after-hours support for maintenance or incident handling Job Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline * Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in database administration within enterprise environments * Solid experience in database performance tuning, monitoring, backup, and recovery * Strong knowledge of at least three of our major RDBMS platforms: (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server) * Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is an advantage * Familiarity with Linux/Unix and/or Windows environments * Experience in scripting (e.g., Bash, Batch, or similar) for automation * Exposure to cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL) is a plus * Proven hands-on use of enterprise-grade AI/GenAI and automation tools (e.g., Copilot, AIOps platforms) to design and implement solutions that measurably improve operational efficiency and throughput; able to demonstrate concrete use cases and outcomes * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills * Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams * Relevant certifications (Oracle, Microsoft, PostgreSQL, etc.) are advantageous We offer successful candidate an attractive remuneration package and excellent career prospects.
