Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

The Hobart Class Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG) are at the forefront of advanced naval technology and provides the strategic advantage for Defence.
Based at Osbourne SA, you will join the broader Multi-Domain Combat System Team within LMA.

As the Aegis Combat System (ACS) Supply Support Officer / Logistics Analyst, you will provide Logistics Support Services with respect to the upkeep, update and upgrade of ACS through the following key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the customer utilising MILIS and/or SAP for inventory management, warehousing and distribution and supply chain coordination activities
  • Ensuring Supply Support liaison is current with all key stakeholders for logistics activities for all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) equipment, including prioritizing, tracking and delivery of FMS material
  • Contributing to the management of the ACS inventory in accordance with all Defence and LMA policies and procedures
  • Ensuring and overseeing the tracking and delivery of the ACS assets, resolves logistics problems and provides associated correspondence and documentation
  • Undertaking and managing equipment disposals and spares reallocation ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained during capability upgrade programs

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Substantial experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Material Requirement Planning and/or Inventory Management Systems.
  • Substantial experience liaising with service contractors and service providers.
  • Significant experience in MILIS or SAP.
  • An Australian Baseline security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information
