We are seeking an Aerial Groundhand to join our team in the Humble, TX area. In this role you will install and/or repair aerial cable tv (CTV) coaxial and fiber cable as well as place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open wire, drops and block wires. Why TAK? The Role Install and/or repair aerial cable tv (CTV) coaxial and fiber cable Place, relocate and remove poles, lines, open wire, drops and block wires to maintain efficient operation of the customer’s facilities Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers Direct traffic in accordance with local Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines as necessary Complete additional tasks, such as underground work, as needed Strive to provide the best customer experience every day Other duties as assigned Requirements Telecommunications construction experience a plus Ability to travel daily, open to a variety of schedules, participate in on-call evenings and weekends as needed Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Ability to lift and carry 70lbs consistently Ability to complete tasks with small components and wires Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
