OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in utility installation and maintenance, particularly in high voltage and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with various heavy equipment, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on construction sites. The Lineperson will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical infrastructure. We currently do not offer insurance we are working to become union.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and bucket trucks.
• Strong background in electrical work with hands-on experience in high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques and cabling practices is highly desirable.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Previous construction site experience is essential; candidates should be comfortable working in various weather conditions.

• Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and bucket trucks to perform installation and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct fiber splicing and cabling for both high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
• Perform rigging operations to safely lift and move materials as needed.
• Execute utility locating to ensure safe excavation practices.
• Climb structures as required for installation or maintenance of electrical lines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within established timelines.
