Job Title: Aerodrome Operations and Safeguarding Officer
Location: Warton – On site – Shift work
Salary: £47,683+ Depending on Skillset + Shift Allowance

• Working as an Air Traffic Control Assistant in the Control Tower, providing operational support to the Tower Air Traffic Control Officer, including compiling half-hourly meteorological observations.
• Working as the Aerodrome Operations Duty Officer, responsible to the Aerodrome Operations Lead for the safe and efficient functioning of the Operations Room as the daily communication, control and co-ordination centre for Warton Aerodrome.
• Working as the Duty Runway Controller, operating from the Runway Control vehicle, to provide warning for any factors that may create a threat to flight safety.
• Performing routine airfield inspections.
• Supporting the Aerodrome Manager in the mitigation of operational risks, including aspects of aerodrome technical safeguarding.
• Organise and manage all mandated aerodrome surveys.
• Management, oversight and delivery of the Airside Driving Permit scheme.
• Co-ordinate all aspects of Aerodrome technical safeguarding aligned to CAP 738, CAP 1096, CAP 764, and CAP 168.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
