QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in developing autonomy, robotics, or guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems. Experience in the aerospace or UAS industry is a major plus.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python are essential.
  • Direct hands-on experience with open-source autopilot flight stacks such as ArduPilot or PX4 is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: sensor fusion (e.g., Kalman filters), SLAM, computer vision, path planning, or motion control.
  • Experience working with perception sensors (Cameras, LiDAR, Radar) and inertial sensors (IMU, GPS).
  • Familiarity with simulation tools for robotics and autonomous systems (e.g., Gazebo, AirSim).
  • Solid understanding of linear algebra, geometry, and probability.
  • Experience with software development best practices, including version control (Git), unit testing, and continuous integration.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Solid understanding of controls-related concepts and optimization (quaternions, PIDs)
