Job Title: CNC Machinist Employee Type: Full Time, Hourly Shifts Available: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 4:30pm   PAY RATES:  $22.00 - $30.00/hr - Dependent Upon Experience Reports to: Machining Manager Job Location: Wichita, KS, USA Experience: 4-6  years operating 3 & 5 axis CNC Machines  Job Duties:  * Machining large parts to customer specifications. * Use precision instruments such as micrometers. * Production Monitoring: Monitor and adjust machine feed, speed, coolant flow, and tool paths  * Setup, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations * Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines * Troubleshooting & Recovery: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with tooling, materials, or programs, including performing full machine recovery. * Set controls to regulate machining or enter commands to retrieve & input computerized machine control media * Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines (PPE, LOTO) and maintain a clean work area. Requirements: * Previous Mag3 machining experience required * 4-6 years experience operating Fanuc Control 3 & 5 axis CNC Machines, preferred * 4-6 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferred * Gantry style machining experience, preferred * Ability to read, understand and follow step by step procedures * Experience with programming & editing G-code/M-code, preferred * Experience using/reading mechanical measuring tools & blueprint reading * Familiar with 5S manufacturing procedures  * Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills * Trustworthy, honest and person of good character * Follow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required * Excellent attendance and positive attitude is required * Reliable Transportation required * Must be a US citizen or current green card holder * Assist with other tasks as assigned by manager  Working Conditions: * Some overtime may be necessary with or without notice * The essential duties job may require the ability to stoop; to reach; to stand, and to walk for extended periods of time; to push and/or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds; to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; to use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects; to perceive the attributes of objects by touch; to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others in the office.  Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and/or crouch to retrieve items. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment. Writing to complete reports and service requests.  Occasionally Lifting and carrying (with assistance) items weighing 75-150 lbs. Must be able to wear safety PPE equipment, as required.
