Job Title: Aerospace Control Systems Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid – Onsite/WFH)
Employment Type: Contract W2 6 months with possible extensions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related STEM field.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering roles related to control systems or aerospace.
  • Strong knowledge of system requirements development and V&V processes.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

BEPC is actively looking for a skilled Aerospace Control Systems Engineer to support our client’s military environmental control systems program. This role will focus on leading system requirements development and verification and validation (V&V) in compliance with ARP4754. You will collaborate in a hybrid environment, applying your technical expertise to complex engineering challenges that enhance safety and innovation in aerospace systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead system requirements and V&V efforts for military environmental control systems per ARP4754.
  • Oversee integration and architectural design across multidisciplinary systems (hardware, software, network).
  • Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Provide mentorship and support capability development within the team.
  • Own technical oversight of control system integration and test equipment development.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of field issues.
  • Present complex technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
