Description Job Summary: Pressco Products is a manufacturing and machining company that produces quality machined parts, stamping, fabrication, and assembly of components for the aerospace and defense industries. With its rich 60-year history and new long-term contracts, Pressco is looking for a few key individuals who want to be a part of its continued growth and stability. We are seeking an experienced and eager Estimator to provide complete, detailed quotes. This position will work closely with customer service, outside processing, material planning, programming and department leads to accurately plan and quote part packages. Job Duties and Essential Functions: Manage and complete request for quotations RFQ’s from customers on or before the deadline. RFQ’s may be one part or large packages with hundreds of parts. Evaluate the feasibility of the RFQs, work with the estimating team to confirm feasibility Quote and update outside processing pricing Establish and promote great vendor relationships Review customer specifications and part drawings Prepare quote packages and work collaboratively with the estimating team and customers Create and enter quotes into the ERP system Assisting with reviewing and basic understanding of program/customer contracts Requirements Job Requirements: U.S. Citizen due to ITARS requirements High level of attention to detail, critical thinking, accuracy, and sense of urgency Self-starter and independent motivation, and follow-up and follow-through on projects Project management skills Basic knowledge of sales, sales contracts, and long-term agreements (LTA’s) Aerospace program contract knowledge Basic aerospace, metal, or plastics machining knowledge Outside service/process knowledge (finish houses, heat treat, paint, etc.) Basic knowledge of formulations for burden, labor costs, shop rates, and material costs Reading drawings and blueprints Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles Minimum of 2+ years in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace industry (open to similar industry experience) High school diploma or GED equivalent. Higher education is a plus Excellent attendance and time management - Monday through Friday, Full-time. First shift hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 PM Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening. - Must be fluent in English Proficient computer skills – Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 - We will train on our computer ERP systems (Infor VISUAL) This position is hourly, non-exempt, with a compensation range of $33.00 to $38.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience, and is evaluated regularly based on merit and performance. Upon completion of the probationary period benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k), and voluntary supplemental insurance options.
