SUMMARY:

ATC Manufacturing is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Maintenance Lead. The responsibilities of this position are to maintain all production equipment per manufacturer’s requirements and to perform direct maintenance tasks necessary to keep equipment functioning optimally. Key area of emphasis for this role will be Thermoplastic Forming Press Systems and Continuous Compression Molding Equipment Maintenance and downtime reduction planning and execution (Total Productive Maintenance). Performing peripheral related and unrelated work duties may also be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED
Strong Understanding of hydraulics, TP presses, CCM’s, Ovens, control systems, HMI
5+ years of relevant maintenance experience with Thermoplastic Press System and CCM / PCCM equipment.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of standard computer programs including Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance (PM) (25%-50%)

  • Perform PM’s as required on all identified equipment.
  • Develop and Maintain PM logs for all required equipment.
  • Help in development of critical Spares and identifying vendors.
  • Support development of Total Productive Maintenance strategies for all Forming Equipment.
  • Know and use Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention “Best Practices” when working on equipment.
  • Utilize lock out tag out as required when servicing equipment.

Repair (10%-25%)

  • Trouble shoot equipment as needed and identify fix.
  • Contact and engage with vendors and contractors as directed by Supervisor.
  • Identify equipment that is close to lifespan for replacement.
  • Research and recommend replacement equipment.

Facility (15%-25%)

  • Maintain all working areas to prevent hazards and unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain production equipment within the facility.
  • Perform / support miscellaneous facility maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
  • Identify Potential FOD concerns in production areas.
  • Develop stocking requirements for facility items.
  • Support all facility related moves and repairs.
  • Identify facility related items that need to be replaced.

Housekeeping (5%-10%)

  • Clean as you work throughout the shift.
  • Refill all supplies and tools as needed and at the end of every shift.
  • Complete all assigned tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Know and use FOD prevention “Best Practices” in assigned area.
