As the Aerospace Materials – Distribution and Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the Supply Chain logistics with global distribution for our products at the Mojave facility. You will use your knowledge of Warehouse Management, Trade Automations (TA), and export compliance to lead a diverse team of experts in various areas related to order fulfillment. Your group will also be responsible for handling the receiving, inspection and storage of incoming raw materials to the Mojave Facility. You will work on-site at our Mojave, CA facility and report directly to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and support team of supervisors, planners, and analysts in aspects of execution of inventory and supply plans in coatings, sealants, and receiving operations. Maintain inventory health and compliance by performing accurate transactions for incoming and outgoing materials. Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams (Sales, Technical, Operations, Customer Service, & Demand planning) to develop and implement operational excellence in the areas of Supply and Inventory Planning. Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies. Oversee the daily safety, quality, housekeeping, receiving, and shipping activities of the Mojave receiving and distribution operations. Ensure safe and efficient operation of the receiving and shipping functions Ensure inventory accuracy and on-time delivery of orders. Meet all labeling, packaging, and paperwork requirements. Safely manage PPG human resources and assets. Responsible for adherence to safety, regulatory, and company policies across all shifts. Qualifications: BS/BA in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering strongly recommended. Five (5) or more years demonstrated management experience in shipping/logistics within a chemical manufacturing environment. APICS certification preferred. Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups) and Power Bi required. Previous experience with chemicals/hazardous materials/PSM regulations. Working knowledge of an ERP systems required, QAD preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse inventory management system.
