SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Aerospace Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships required to support aerospace programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace industry standards, supply chain dynamics, and contract negotiation. This role ensures the on-time delivery of high-quality components while maintaining cost control, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Available shifts: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE AEROSPACE PROCUREMENT:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
*
3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
*
Knowledge of aerospace standards and compliance (AS9100, ITAR, etc.).
*
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
*
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
*
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for aerospace-grade materials, components, and services.

Manage the procurement lifecycle: RFQs, PO issuance, order tracking, delivery, and invoicing.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., AS9100, ITAR, FAR/DFARS).

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to understand technical requirements and ensure part compatibility.

Monitor supplier performance, including quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
*
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term strategic sourcing goals.

Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply disruptions and obsolescence.

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audits and traceability.
