JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking highly skilled Aerospace Structural Assembly Fitters with a minimum of 5 years of aerospace experience to join our Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will bring a proven background in structural assembly, working with both pre-fabricated and composite materials, and a demonstrated ability to deliver precision work to stringent aerospace standards. This position is critical to ensuring our parts and assemblies meet all customer specifications, certifications, and quality expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in aerospace assembly/fitting is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a Structural Fitter in aerospace assembly
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace assembly techniques, precision fitting, and fastener installation standards (e.g., rivets, Hi-Lok, lockbolts).
  • Experience in mechanical assembly or fitting, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.- preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and scales.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Additional technical training or certification in mechanical assembly or manufacturing is an asset.
