An exciting opportunity now exists for an Aerospace Tradesperson in the Tool Services Group (TSG) team, reporting to the Facilities Services Manager. This is a full time, permanent role is based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne. About The Role: Issuing items to toolboxes and personnel via Cribmaster Complete milk runs to ensure that operations have correct stock levels at point of use Receive items both new and repaired into the TSG store Maintaining toolbox master lists Booking of items from calibration into TSG and ensuring that items are sent for calibration before due date Kitting of drills for use by operations Verify drill and reamer sizers with precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers) Replacement of power feed drill cutters Perform diagnosis and repairs on powered hand tools (pneumatic rivet guns, nut-runners, power feed drills, etc.) that are returned to TSG Provide accurate records of work completed on powered tools through Cribmaster Support engineering with programming and testing of power feed drill Prepare, organize and participation in a full stock take Provide technical advice to production on matters associated with powered tools and cutters, repairs and problem solving Basic Qualifications (Required skills / experience): Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook and ability to learn new systems quickly Demonstrated organizational and time management skills Strong understanding and commitment to 5S and Lean principles Safety conscious and able to adhere to safety requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills and ability to liaise directly with internal customers Prepared to work in a changing environment and adapt to continuous improvement About Our Benefits: Work on cutting edge projects Additional annual leave day Access to Boeing Discount Program – an exclusive retail and services discount marketplace Access discounts for health insurance, travel and accommodation Health and wellbeing benefits including annual flu vaccinations and Employee Assistance Program Additional information This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as Aerospace Tradespersons W4.
