Position Overview Department: SPA Schedule: PRN Days 9am-6pm, some weekends Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's One Nineteen Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Provide skin care services to patients. Perform consultations and treatments in compliance with clinic protocols and state regulations. Monitor patient condition and response; report any problems or adverse reactions to physician. Operate, clean and maintain equipment. Comply with infection control policies and procedures. Educate and demonstrate techniques to minimize swelling and discoloration, masking hair loss, cleaning and care for sensitive skin, and the effective use of make-up. May answer phones to provide information on services, schedule appointments or conducts follow-up phone client satisfaction surveys. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Currently licensed with Alabama Board of Cosmetology & Barbering as an Esthetician required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Responsibilities

The Aesthetician will provide skincare services, perform consultations and treatments adhering to clinic protocols and state regulations, and monitor patient conditions, reporting any adverse reactions to a physician. They are also responsible for operating, cleaning, and maintaining equipment while complying with infection control procedures.
