QUALIFIKATIONEN & ERFAHRUNGEN

Minimum Qualifikationen:

  • Abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder eine gleichwertige Qualifikation (z. B. Bilanzbuchhalter [m/w/d]).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completed business studies or equivalent qualification (e.g., certification as an accountant [m/f/d]).
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a medium-sized manufacturing or project-driven company.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, HGB is a must-have.
  • Excellent SAP knowledge, including FI/CO/MM/AA/SD.
  • Business fluent German and English skills (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in creating and managing assets, preparing reports for local statistics, and handling payments and payroll.
  • A team-oriented, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of IFRS is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Intercultural awareness and sensitivity.

Responsibilities:

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE

She/he will work on general ledger matters related to our operative company in Germany (production and projects). Main tasks are both external (interrelating with the Administrative external provider) and internal (liaising with indoor operative function like HR and liaising/reporting to head quarter/management). This role encompasses a blend of accounting, controlling, and treasury functions.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of Financial Statements: Independent preparation of periodic financial statements in accordance with HGB.
  • General & Asset Accounting: Managing general ledger and asset accounting for several group companies, including creating and maintaining assets.
  • Financial Process Control: Implementation, documentation, and monitoring of statistics and controls within the financial processes for the internal control system.
  • Internal and External Liaison: Acting as the contact person for internal business areas, external auditors, and tax auditors.
  • Payments and Payroll: Managing and processing national and international payments, including weekly payment runs and payroll administration.
  • Reporting: creating and maintaining local statistics or reports, e.g., for regulatory filings, regional projects, internal controls, or industry-specific surveys.
  • Bank Operations: Managing interactions with banks and handling treasury tasks.
